The 2018 Festival D'Avion is a celebration of flight and freedom at the Moore County Airport, located just outside Pinehurst, NC.
The two-and-a-half day event will offer a unique collection of special events/activities, displays/exhibits, entertainment and food and beverage options for the entire family to enjoy.
The five branches the Military will be recognized with static aircraft exhibits honoring the men and women who currently serve in the armed forces and those who have retired from military service.

Join us Friday, April 27 at 6 p.m. at the Moore County Airport as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Fort Bragg. Among the evening's entertainment will be an jump-in appearance from the Children of Fallen Heroes Skydiving Angels and the ceremonial cutting of a 100th Birthday Cake created by the Fort Bragg Culinary Staff.
The menu for the reception, catered by Backyard Bistro out of Raleigh, includes Shrimp & Grits, Carved Deep Fried Turkey, Build-Your-Own BBQ Sliders, and a Mediterranean Antipasto Display. Spirits will be provided courtesy of Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits, Surry County Wine Trail, Appalachian Mountain Brewery and Aviator Brewing Company, along with Pepsi products and Evian bottled water.
